Offering in-person and virtual sessions for adolescents, young adults, adults, and families.
Hi- my name is Nova (they/she)! I am accepting new clients with a focus on working with adolescents and caregivers. I have over 6 years of experience working in various areas of the education field and I bring that knowledge into my work as a therapist. My work experiences with children and families spans across all ages from early childhood through college.
My approach to counseling is rooted in warmth and collaboration with intent to foster genuine connection and emotional safety for every client. I believe that change begins when we feel seen, heard, and understood, and my goal is to help clients feel empowered in their identities and capable in their lives.
My philosophy is rooted in a Relational-Cultural lens, grounded in the belief that growth happens in the context of meaningful relationships. I incorporate games, art, and fidgets into my sessions with the hope that when you are having fun and feeling comfortable, we can dive into the more personal parts of this work. I also integrate Solution-Focused strategies to support you in managing daily challenges and building practical skills to handle the curveballs life throws your way.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s okay to have questions or feel unsure. I look forward to getting to know you and appreciate the opportunity to support you on your journey!
I am working toward licensure under the clinical supervision and guidance of Beth Morelli, LCMHC.
